Intel 471 Senior Intelligence Analyst recognized among top “Women to Watch” in cybersecurity

WILMINGTON, Del.: Intel 471, the premier provider of cyber threat intelligence (CTI) solutions across the globe, announced today that Ashley Jess, Senior Intelligence Analyst at Intel 471, was recognized by SC Media as one of its top “Women to Watch.” This category in the publication’s 2024 Women in IT Security Awards program spotlights emerging leaders driving growth and innovation in cybersecurity.

“Ashley Jess personifies a ‘Woman to Watch’ in cybersecurity,” said Michael DeBolt, Chief Intelligence Officer at Intel 471. “Besides being wicked smart, Ashley inspires others across the industry with her contagiously positive attitude and genuine commitment to empowering colleagues in the pursuit to leverage their knowledge, skills and competencies in protecting individuals, organizations and/or nations from cyber threats.”

In the past year, Ashley built several intelligence desks focused on key topics and trends in the cybercriminal underground, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and criminal election interference efforts. This critical information empowered Intel 471’s customers with timely, relevant insights to protect their business assets from cyber threats. Additionally, Ashley was selected to present her insights into AI misuse at the Black Hat-affiliated security education conference, SecTor. This and other speaking opportunities are aligned with her quest to share cybersecurity information for the benefit of the cybersecurity community at large.

Ashley’s recognition as a woman worth watching in cybersecurity aligns with her exceptional achievements prior to joining Intel 471. Between 2018 and 2022, as she progressed from an honors intern at the Federal Bureau of Investigation to a staff operations specialist, Ashley earned four separate performance awards for going above and beyond to thwart various cyber threat activity. Since joining Intel 471 in 2022, Ashley’s organizational enablement, leadership and dedication to team improvement led her to be recognized multiple times including most recently the Intel 471 Hall of Fame award in June 2024.
