LOS ANGELES: mPulse, a leading provider of Health Experience and Insights (HXI) technology, today announced significant growth in Q3 2024 driven by its acquisition of Zipari, significant expansion with existing customers, and new partnerships with health plans and health technology companies. mPulse’s consistent innovation in the member engagement market through its integrated HXI technology is fueling growth and creating transformational value for mPulse’s health plan customers.

HXI Technology Investment and Integration

mPulse continues to invest in its HXI technology, which integrates health plan portals, omnichannel conversational AI engagement, and AI-powered predictive analytics. The acquisition of Zipari advances mPulse’s leadership in member portals technology and creates new opportunities to deliver enhanced customer value through its HXI products. mPulse now partners with over 400+ leading healthcare organizations including 29 of the 30 largest health plans in the U.S.

Activate2024 and New AI Capabilities

mPulse’s comprehensive HXI capabilities were discussed at the Activate2024 industry conference held on September 26-27, 2024. The conference was attended by over 100 healthcare organizations and focused on the theme ‘From Insights to Interventions, Creating Consumer Centric Health Journeys.’ The agenda included demonstrations of mPulse’s innovative health engagement-focused AI capabilities, including machine learning-powered predictive analytics along with utilization of LLMs to interpret member sentiment across member message response data and survey response data.

Health Organization Program Outcomes

mPulse also announced today key program outcomes that demonstrate how its HXI products can both improve the health plan member experience and support provider network collaboration and performance:

  • An HMO serving over 750,000 patients has approximately 15,000 internal users of mPulse’s provider portal, resulting in a 35% decrease in service center call volume and a nearly 4x increase in the number of claims processed per FTE per day.
  • An MCO serving over 500,000 Medicare and Medicaid members used mPulse’s referral and authorizations tool within its portals product to increase online authorization submissions by 44% and increase auto-determination by 5%, freeing up MCO resources to allocate to other higher-value activities.
  • A leading national health plan achieved a 1-star improvement in CAHPS measures by utilizing mPulse’s AI-powered predictive analytics to drive tailored engagement messaging. The extensive member experience-focused program also delivered a 46% increase in proxy CAHPS survey completion, which provided significantly deeper satisfaction-based insights.
