New Head of Commercial Sales, Dan Hefle, brings decades of experience in networking and enterprise sales
BOSTON: Aliro today announced the appointment of its new Head of Commercial Sales, Dan Hefle. Bolstered by sales and product success in 2024, Aliro’s expanded leadership team is well positioned to accelerate the company’s growth and take advantage of quantum networking momentum. Hefle will spearhead Aliro’s enterprise, commercial, telco, and cloud relationships, helping drive sales velocity and expanded reach.
Hefle brings more than 25 years of sales management experience in enterprise networking, security and cloud services. He joins Aliro from Arista Networks, where he played a key sales role in enterprise, commercial, cloud, and telco. He has also held sales positions at Synack, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks and Cisco.
“Aliro is on a mission to demonstrate that entanglement-based quantum networks are not a single purpose solution, and we’ve had tremendous success with utilities, telco providers and public sector organizations,” said Jim Ricotta, CEO and Chairman of Aliro. “2024 was a remarkable year for us and having a seasoned sales leader like Dan Hefle join us will ensure we continue that trajectory in the enterprise and commercial space.”
“Building quantum networks is uniquely complex, and I’m excited to join Aliro as Head of Commercial Sales to contribute my expertise,” said Hefle. “I’ll be working with existing customers and new prospects to understand their priorities and concerns as they simulate, design, pilot and build some of the world’s first commercial quantum networks.”
