MORRISTOWN, N.J.: Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions, a Berkley Company, is proud to announce our new Incident Responder Enhancement Endorsement, which addresses the often-overlooked human impact from responding to cyber breach events. This endorsement can provide reimbursement for cancelled vacations, child/elder care, and corporate safety costs incurred by incident response teams who are on the front lines of these crises, and includes our market-leading Crisis Counseling coverage. These new coverages come with a $0 retention and are provided outside the limits of liability.
“In addition to the high demands that our insureds experience during breach events, our Claims team recognized other points of stress that can negatively impact the remediation process. The financial burdens faced by employees on the front lines of breach events can inhibit their ability to address the crisis without distraction,” said Rich Sheridan, Chief Claims Officer of Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions.
“We believe that this additional coverage will help ease some of the overlooked burdens that incident responders are forced to handle when tasked with managing tense cyber crises,” said Tracey Vispoli, President of Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions.
