Global operations leader brings retail and CPG expertise to supply chain platform's advisory council
CHICAGO: FourKites®, the global leader in AI-driven supply chain transformation, today announced that Timothy Scott, founder of True North Supply Chain Advisory LLC and former operations executive across multiple retail and consumer goods organizations, has joined its Strategic Advisory Council. Scott brings over three decades of experience in supply chain transformation and operational excellence to FourKites' advisory council, where he will provide strategic guidance on product innovation and market expansion.
Throughout his career, Scott has held senior executive roles at Grocery Outlet, Sobeys, Metro Inc., Genpact, Mondelez, Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, and Nestlé. His leadership has consistently delivered enterprise-level value, from 20% year-over-year cost reductions to scaling supply chain operations that supported 2-4x business growth. Based in Northern California, Scott now leads True North Supply Chain Advisory LLC, assisting companies with planning, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations strategy.
"The future belongs to organizations that can transform their supply chains from cost centers into autonomous decision-making engines," said Scott. "FourKites has pioneered AI systems that don't just provide analytics but actively orchestrate operations with minimal human intervention. This fundamental shift represents the next horizon in supply chain management — where systems can anticipate disruptions and autonomously implement corrective actions before issues impact the business."
FourKites' Strategic Advisory Council brings together accomplished supply chain executives with decades of hands-on experience. The Council represents FourKites' commitment to understanding the practical realities supply chain leaders face, ensuring the company's solutions address genuine market needs.
"Tim's experience driving transformation across retail and consumer goods organizations gives him unique insight into the challenges our customers face," said Mathew Elenjickal, Founder and CEO of FourKites. "His proven track record delivering measurable business impact through supply chain innovation will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our platform to address complex operational challenges."
Scott will bring this transformation expertise directly to supply chain leaders at FourKites Summit 2025, where he'll moderate a panel examining how industry leaders are operationalizing visibility data and leveraging AI to drive business performance. The August 26-27 Chicago conference features hands-on workshops and case studies from executives who've successfully deployed AI-driven supply chain strategies, with limited seats available for the executive-focused format.
Scott's appointment follows FourKites' evolution beyond real-time visibility to offer the industry's only Intelligent Control Tower™. This platform combines supply chain network data with digital twins and a Digital Workforce of AI agents that autonomously act on visibility data, preventing disruptions before they occur and orchestrating complex supply chain operations.
A former Royal Canadian Navy officer, Scott applies disciplined, mission-driven leadership to corporate governance and strategic planning. He holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University and brings cross-cultural fluency from work across North America, Europe, and Asia, including fluency in French.
