Partnership ensures that every corner of DC’s tech ecosystem—startups, investors, and government agencies—can move fast while upholding world-class security standards.

WASHINGTON: STATION DC, the District’s non-profit tech hub that convenes technologists, investors, military leaders, and policymakers, today announced a partnership with Vanta, the leading AI-powered trust management platform, to bring together business leaders, government officials and industry experts in addressing today’s most critical cybersecurity and compliance challenges through stronger cross-sector collaboration.

“Washington is fast becoming the proving ground for tech that matters,” said James Barlia, Executive Director, STATION DC. “By teaming up with Vanta, we’re putting gold-standard, automated compliance and risk management within reach of everyone driving DC’s tech future—from startups to federal agencies—so they can stay laser-focused on mission-critical innovation while meeting the highest standards of security and responsibility.”

For Vanta, the move demonstrates its commitment to bringing the benefits of AI and automation to the public sector community, including both government and industrial base vendors.

“DC is rapidly becoming one of the most unique and inventive tech communities globally because this is where innovators can address real-world policy challenges with the newest and most disruptive technology,” noted Morgan Kaplan, Director of U.S. Government Strategy & Affairs, Vanta. “In partnering with STATION DC, Vanta supports the entire ecosystem—from agencies safeguarding the public interest to startups advancing new technologies—so trust, security and compliance become the launchpad, not the roadblock to public-private partnership.”

The partnership underscores Vanta’s commitment to public-sector readiness and STATION DC’s role as the connective tissue between private-sector innovation and government priorities. It will include a series of co-sponsored events and thought leadership initiatives taking place throughout the year aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation at the intersection of cybersecurity and policy. The first joint event will be held at STATION DC’s Union Market headquarters later this year.
