MCLEAN, Va.: Altamira Technologies Corporation ("Altamira"), a pure-play National Security company enabling critical operations and delivering multi-INT solutions company, today announced the appointment of Frank Calvelli to its board of directors. Mr. Calvelli brings over 30 years of experience in national security space acquisitions, operations, and intelligence systems development to Altamira.

Most recently, Mr. Calvelli served as the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration, where he was the first Senate-confirmed official responsible for military space programs. His distinguished career also includes serving as the Principal Deputy Director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) for over eight years and numerous senior leadership positions within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Mr. Calvelli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer and Information Science from the State University of New York at Potsdam (SUNY Potsdam) and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola College in Baltimore.
