DENVER & VANCOUVER, British Columbia: Jetson, a home electrification company, today announced $50M in Series A funding to accelerate the adoption of all-electric heat pump systems in the United States. The round, led by Eclipse with participation from 8VC, Activate Capital, and existing investors Garage Capital and Active Impact, will fuel Jetson’s expansion into new U.S. states and advance its vertically integrated platform for fast, affordable residential electrification.
Founded in 2024, Jetson intentionally centered its early product roadmap on all-electric heat pump systems as a direct replacement for gas furnaces, one of the largest sources of emissions in most homes. Late last year, the company launched its flagship offering, Jetson Air, a smart, central heat pump system that heats and cools an entire home through existing ductwork. Designed as the first of multiple electrification solutions, Jetson Air showcases the company’s vertically integrated model, which combines direct-to-consumer pricing and purchasing, remote assessments, rebate management, and an in-house installation team to dramatically simplify project timelines and reduce upgrade costs by 30-50%.
“Jetson is delivering the future of residential electrification, starting with heat pumps. They’ve transformed a traditionally painful purchasing and installation cycle into a low-cost and delightful experience for homeowners,” said Ryan Gibson, Investor at Eclipse. "This is all driven by a veteran technology team that has previously built extremely advanced hardware and software products, now going after transforming old-line industries."
With an estimated 46% of U.S. and Canadian households still relying on gas furnaces for primary heating, Jetson is tackling one of the largest remaining sources of residential emissions. Meeting this demand requires rethinking how home energy systems are designed, managed, and experienced. Most residential systems still operate much as they did decades ago, offering little visibility into performance or efficiency. Jetson embeds smart technology and software directly into its all-electric systems, enabling real-time monitoring, performance alerts, remote updates, and air-quality sensing. With this investment, the company will continue advancing its software platform and expanding its product roadmap by building a broader suite of intelligent home solutions that make all-electric living simpler, more affordable, and scalable. With this modern approach, the company has installed over 1,000 systems, earning Jetson recognition in the TIME 2025 Best Inventions list.
“Heat pumps have worked for decades, but their cost and complexity have put them out of reach of most homeowners,” said Stephen Lake, co-founder and CEO of Jetson. “We’re removing the friction by making the process digital, fast, and affordable, while fully managing the purchase from start to finish. This funding will help us quickly bring this experience to more homeowners across the U.S. and Canada.”
To date, Jetson has helped homeowners in Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, and Vancouver make the switch to electrification. To learn more about Jetson, visit www.jetsonhome.com.
