HOUSTON: Raise, a workforce deployment company, today announced the acquisition of Murmur, a technology-enabled supplier marketplace platform known for helping enterprises bring order, performance, and agility to complex supplier ecosystems. This acquisition strengthens Raise’s position as a leader in next-generation contingent workforce solutions.
Raise has worked strategically with Murmur on several client programs, partnering to deliver curated, compliant supplier solutions. This acquisition marks the next step in our relationship - deepening collaboration and reinforcing shared commitments to innovation, transparency, and experience.
“Raise was built on the belief that every connection in the talent supply chain - client, supplier, and worker - should feel simple, transparent, and human,” said Tim Masson, CEO of Raise. “By bringing Murmur into Raise, we’re expanding that vision - giving enterprises and suppliers a single, trusted destination to connect, collaborate, and deliver outcomes together.”
Many contingent programs are operating under the weight of too many suppliers, rogue spend, misclassification risk, prolonged RFP cycles, and inconsistent adherence to approved supplier lists. Raise’s Supplier Marketplace enables clients to access more than 6,000 sourcing partners through a single, unified platform. Clients benefit from:
This acquisition represents another step forward in Raise’s mission to simplify sourcing, elevate the experience of contingent workforce management for clients, contractors, and suppliers, and accelerate a more technology-enabled future.
A Shared Vision for Better Work
Founded in 2023, Murmur quickly gained traction for its performance-led approach to supplier marketplaces - enabling enterprises to attract, evaluate, promote, and retire suppliers based on in-program results.
"Murmur began with a belief that self-managed contingent workforce programs needed a sidekick - a neutral partner to help build a more dynamic, flexible, and responsive supplier network,” said Taren Dube, founder of Murmur. “Bringing Murmur into Raise is a natural next step. Raise is committed to shaping the future of contingent workforce management, and their ecosystem is exactly where a supplier marketplace can have the most impact. I’m excited to see Raise help organizations strengthen supplier relevance, reduce friction, and deliver better outcomes for hiring leaders, suppliers, and candidates."
