OVERLAND PARK, Kan.: #AI--Netsmart and Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of behavioral health and addiction treatment services, announce an enhanced enterprise collaboration to strengthen the organization’s technology infrastructure and better support integrated behavioral healthcare across its multistate system.
Through this expanded relationship, Pyramid Healthcare will modernize its enterprise-wide electronic health record (EHR) strategy and broaden the organization’s use of advanced technology, augmented intelligence (AI) and workflow automation. These investments in the integrated Netsmart CareFabric® platform of solutions aim to support near-seamless care coordination, high-quality and efficient clinical documentation and reduced administrative burden, enabling staff to focus more fully on client care.
In 2023, Pyramid Healthcare began its journey with Netsmart to close gaps in revenue cycle workflows and streamline the billing process. Through this collaboration, Pyramid Healthcare modernized collections, denials management and claims management workflows, helping to drive improvements across its revenue cycle operations. Building on the meaningful improvements already achieved, the organization is now extending the Netsmart platform across Pyramid Healthcare’s growing continuum of substance use, mental health and recovery services.

The solution will support clinical documentation, telehealth, e-prescribing and medication management while enabling a more connected and recovery-focused care experience for the more than 56,000 individuals Pyramid Healthcare serves annually.
