Legal AI Conference Series & Learning Ecosystem Brings Proven AI-Fluency Model to Southern California Following Charlotte & Chicago Success
NEW YORK: Masters AI Legal, a division of The Masters Conference, today announced its Los Angeles conference on June 17, 2026, hosted by Buchalter LLP. For the first time, Masters AI Legal will offer both in-person attendance at Buchalter's Los Angeles office and a live virtual experience available to any legal professionals interested in increasing their AI-fluency.
Buchalter attorneys from the firm's Sacramento, Orange County, and San Diego offices will participate virtually, bringing the conference to their teams across the state. Additionally, Masters AI Legal is partnering with paralegal leader Sheila Grela to extend virtual access to members of the Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County paralegal associations.
The combined in-person and virtual event expects to reach more than 1,000 legal professionals seeking hands-on AI training.
The June 17 Los Angeles conference marks the third stop in a rapidly growing national movement. Following Charlotte in March and Chicago in April, Masters AI Legal has reached nearly hundreds of legal professionals from more than 160 companies in just six weeks. The audience includes major AmLaw firms, Fortune 500 legal departments and leading legal tech companies, including Microsoft, JPMC, Abbott, McDonald's and United, plus 31 legal tech and service providers. The success proves that legal professionals at all levels are ready and eager for hands-on AI training.
"Charlotte proved the model works. Chicago proved it attracts decision-makers. Los Angeles proves legal professionals across the country are ready to move from AI fear to AI fluency," said Kevin Vermeulen, CEO of The Masters Conference and Masters AI. "The combination of in-person and virtual formats means we can reach even more legal teams who need this training but can't always travel to attend in person."
For the first time, Masters AI Legal offers a hybrid format. Legal professionals can participate in hands-on master classes, hear real implementation stories and build practical frameworks whether attending in person or joining virtually from regional offices. The in-person conference offers CLE and MCLE credits through Buchalter.
"Legal professionals don't want more panels about AI's potential," said Cat Casey, founder of TechnoCat and anchor of Masters AI Legal. "They want to actually use the tools. Understand the risks. Build skills to lead AI adoption responsibly. That's what we deliver and that's why momentum keeps building from Charlotte to Chicago to now Los Angeles."
Following Los Angeles, Masters AI Legal heads to New York City on July 22, bringing the same hands-on AI training model to the nation's legal capital. With each stop, Masters AI Legal expands its reach across legal markets while maintaining the practical, no-hype approach that has driven rapid adoption among decision-makers. Attendees use actual AI tools, learn from practitioners sharing real wins and failures and develop governance frameworks they can implement immediately.
