Independent examination validates the design of controls supporting the protection of customer information.

LOS ANGELES: #CyberSecurity--LicenseFortress, a provider of Software Asset Management (SAM) Managed Services, software license compliance solutions, and audit defense services, today announced the successful completion of its SOC 2 Type 1 examination.

The examination evaluated the design of controls relevant to the Security Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The independent assessment confirmed that LicenseFortress' controls were appropriately designed to support the security of customer information and the delivery of its services.

As software licensing, SaaS management, cloud consumption, and vendor compliance requirements continue to grow in complexity, organizations increasingly rely on trusted third-party providers to manage sensitive software, infrastructure, contract, and compliance data. Security, governance, and operational maturity have become important considerations in vendor selection and ongoing risk management programs.

"Organizations trust LicenseFortress' team with sensitive licensing, contract, infrastructure, and compliance information," said Dean Bolton, Co-Founder and Chief Architect of LicenseFortress. "Completing our SOC 2 Type 1 examination reflects the governance processes, security controls, and operational discipline we've built into our business and technology platform."

The examination represents another milestone in LicenseFortress' ongoing investment in operational excellence and enterprise readiness. The company continues to enhance its managed services capabilities, proprietary technology platform, and internal governance processes to support the evolving needs of enterprise organizations navigating software licensing, compliance, and audit risk.

"Security and trust are foundational to every customer relationship," said Dr. Michael Corey, Co-Founder and COO of LicenseFortress. "This achievement reflects our ongoing investment in operational maturity and our commitment to delivering the independent expertise, managed services, and customer experience organizations rely on to manage software licensing risk."

The completion of the SOC 2 Type 1 examination supports LicenseFortress' broader commitment to continuous improvement, customer trust, and responsible stewardship of customer information.
