New features boost monitoring at jobsite exit and entry

DENVER: Sensera Systems, Inc., today announced new functionality for SiteCloud Insights, its AI-driven features that interpret visual data and provide actionable summaries to project teams in real-time. Building on the success of releases such as site hygiene, the new capabilities include gate monitoring, license plate capture, and material analysis. Purpose built for the needs of the construction jobsite, these capabilities give contractors improved visibility into the entry and exit of sub-contractors and make overall jobsite monitoring easier.

“As we continue to develop SiteCloud Insights, our goal is to provide real-time information on specific activities that help teams run a better jobsite,” said Rob Garber, chief executive officer at Sensera Systems. “Contractors are looking to embrace new technologies that drive efficiency so they can keep their projects on time and on budget. We continue to focus our innovation on helping them achieve this goal.”

New SiteCloud Insights functionalities include:

  • Gate Monitoring: Streamlines the process for tracking major deliveries. Once a time-consuming manual process, new gate monitoring functionality tracks all vehicles coming and going on the jobsite. When a vehicle enters the jobsite, the vehicle type and company name are detected for near instantaneous visibility. Contractors can easily search to see when a particular vehicle entered and how long it remained onsite. This informs better scheduling, validates material arrival, and accurately maps activity for smoother invoicing and payment.
  • License Plate Capture: Provides the option to use license plates as a unique identifier for gate monitoring. It eliminates inefficiencies for highly secure and regulated builds where entering vehicles must pass through multiple security checkpoints. When this functionality is enabled within gate monitoring, contractors can automate parts of a time-consuming security process.
  • Material Analysis: Quantifies the type and amount of materials delivered from a central location. Contractors achieve even more detailed delivery tracking and material monitoring. Material Analysis capabilities present contractors with a daily trend report, comparing images captured day over day to determine differences in material quantities. This makes it easier for contractors to track material availability and optimize replenishment orders.
