The implementation positions ALPS to operate its recently acquired broker-distributed book of business on a modern, scalable core platform purpose-built for specialty carriers.

ALPS, founded by lawyers for lawyers in 1988, has built its reputation on serving solo and small law firms through a direct distribution model. In 2025, ALPS acquired LawyerCare from ProAssurance, a broker-channel LPL brand, broadening the company's reach into new markets and establishing a dual-distribution strategy. The decision to implement OMS reflects ALPS's commitment to supporting this growth with technology designed for speed and configurability.

The initial go-live was completed in about 6 months from project start and focuses on policy administration for the LawyerCare program, replacing a legacy platform with OMS's modern, cloud-based infrastructure. OMS provides ALPS with pre-loaded insurance content, configurable workflows, and a managed-service delivery model that bundles the system, implementation, support, and ongoing enhancements under a single subscription.
