Collaboration Will Support Development of 5G-Powered Drone Sensing Solutions to Meet National Security and Critical Infrastructure Needs

(NASDAQ:NN), a leader in next-generation terrestrial Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) and 3D geolocation solutions, today announced Tiami Networks as a sensing ecosystem partner for 5G-powered counter unmanned aircraft system (UAS) detection solutions. The integrated sensing and communications (ISAC)-focused partnership between the companies will advance NextNav’s effort to leverage its 5G PNT Network to simultaneously deliver scalable long-range, wide-area sensing capabilities.

The partnership builds on NextNav’s investments in a ground-based 5G-powered 3D PNT solution utilizing its licensed Lower 900 MHz band spectrum.
