Partnership delivers enhanced spend visibility, strategic sourcing support and measurable savings across purchased services

FRISCO, Texas: #beaconhealth--Valify today announced the success of its partnership with Beacon Health System, helping the organization uncover savings opportunities, improve operational efficiency and bring greater transparency to purchased services spending.

Beacon Health System, a nine-hospital health system with more than 130 clinics and multiple surgery centers, began using Valify in early 2025 to take a more strategic approach to managing purchased services, one of healthcare's largest and most complex areas of non-labor spend. Since working with Valify, Beacon Health has leveraged benchmarking insights, sourcing expertise, and embedded advisory support to identify savings opportunities across multiple service categories, including language interpretation services and radiopharmaceuticals, where the organization realized approximately $780,000 in combined annual savings on $6.8M in spend reviewed.

"Supply chain isn't just focused on cost savings for medical supplies," said Ashley McDaniel, Executive Director of Supply Chain at Beacon Health System. "We're also focused on purchased services and how we can improve operational efficiency while driving costs down. Valify helped us do both."

Before using Valify’s software, Beacon Health had limited visibility into purchased services spending across the organization. Valify's platform provided enterprise-wide spend transparency, benchmarking data, and actionable market intelligence, helping supply chain leaders to proactively identify opportunities, strengthen contracting strategies and collaborate more closely with operational stakeholders.

A key component relationship has been Valify’s embedded resource which provides dedicated purchased services expertise alongside Beacon Health's internal team to manage and oversee strategy and program implementation from end-to-end.

"Valify helped by adding an embedded resource into our team," McDaniel said. "The expertise has been phenomenal. Not only are we gaining individual knowledge, but we're also leveraging the broader Valify team to provide additional value in all our purchased services. The partnership also strengthened our relationships between supply chain and operational leaders across the health system by providing a common set of data and insights to guide decision-making."

In addition to current savings and operational improvements, Beacon Health is exploring Valify's latest innovation, Valify AI Chat, which enables users to interact with purchased services spend data through a conversational interface. The solution is designed to help healthcare organizations quickly analyze spending patterns, identify opportunities and accelerate decision-making.

"We're always looking for ways to create greater efficiencies and provide our leaders with better information," said McDaniel. "The ability to ask questions about our spend data and receive actionable insights is incredibly exciting."

"Beacon Health exemplifies how healthcare organizations can realize meaningful value when they apply data-driven decision-making to purchased services," said Les Popiolek, CEO of Valify. "We're proud to partner with Ashley and her team to help uncover savings opportunities, improve operational performance and support their long-term strategic goals."

As healthcare organizations continue to navigate financial pressures and resource constraints, Beacon Health's experience demonstrates how greater spend visibility, expert guidance and data-driven decision-making can help organizations better manage purchased services while supporting high-quality patient care.
