FULTON, Md.: #ai--RemoteThreat today emerged from stealth with the launch of the O/C/O Platform, the first commercial, fully integrated, end-to-end platform for offensive cyber operations (OCO). AI-enabled and built for expert operators, the platform equips enterprise and critical infrastructure red teams to emulate sophisticated adversaries and outpace frontier model advancements in cyber capabilities, while enabling U.S. government mission teams and vetted defense partners to conduct offensive cyber operations at mission speed. RemoteThreat has also established a partnership with The Nakasone Group, which will serve as a strategic advisor to the company. The national security advisory firm was founded by retired four-star U.S. Army General Paul M. Nakasone, former director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and commander of U.S. Cyber Command.

AI-enabled attacks are on the rise, but many still rely on command-line tools and built-in system utilities rather than being integrated with advanced malware or specialized attack tooling. That is changing quickly as AI capabilities mature. As a day-one signatory on OpenAI’s recent open letter calling for a global surge in cyber defense, RemoteThreat is in staunch agreement that as models rapidly mature these attacks will become far more widespread, sophisticated, and difficult to defend against.

RemoteThreat’s launch also comes as the United States expands industry’s role in national cyber capacity. The March 2026 Cyber Strategy calls for proactive disruption and deeper industry partnership, while an August presidential memorandum directs the creation of a program for vetted U.S. companies to conduct cyber operations against foreign cybercriminal groups. Congressional proposals include S. 2606, focused on industry collaboration around AI-enabled cyber capabilities, and the Senate’s FY2027 defense authorization bill, which proposes a trial program for private companies to gain and maintain access to target adversary networks under U.S. Cyber Command authority and direct Department of Defense oversight.

Against this backdrop, RemoteThreat has joined USSOCOM’s Special Operations Forces Rapid Acquisition Consortium for Emerging Requirements (SOF RACER) to deliver offensive cyber capabilities for evolving special operations missions.
