AI-powered insights help commercial teams identify top-prescribing HCPs whose patients may be candidates for their devices

BOSTON: #MedTech--AcuityMD, the AI platform for MedTech, today announced the availability of prescription data in AcuityAI, combining prescription and procedure data in a single workflow for commercial teams. Sales reps can use AcuityAI to find and prioritize healthcare professionals (HCPs) treating patients with prescription (branded and generic) therapies that align with their targets.

For many medical device (MedTech) companies, reviewing procedure data reveals only part of the picture. An HCP may be treating patients with medications associated with a device opportunity – without yet performing the corresponding procedure. Echosens, which uses AcuityAI prescription data to track prescribing trends for its FibroScan-adjacent therapies, has seen a similar shift in how its team identifies opportunities.
