SPARTANBURG, S.C.: #WeAreAFL--AFL, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic cable, equipment, accessories and related services, today released its FY2025 Corporate Responsibility Report. As a reflection of AFL’s continued commitment to creating long-term value for its stakeholders, the report details the company’s progress in environmental stewardship, community engagement, employee development and responsible business practices across its global operations. Throughout the report, Global Highlights showcase initiatives led by AFL teams around the world.

“AFL takes pride in our success this past year not only because of what we achieved, but by how we achieved it,” said Jaxon Lang, President and CEO of AFL. “We view corporate responsibility not as a separate initiative, but as an integral part of how we operate, innovate and grow. I’m delighted with our associates’ dedication to our core values and commitment to each other.”

  • Poland: Recognition as runner-up for the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability and Efficiency Award at the 2025 DCS Awards for AFL’s manufacturing facility in Poland.
  • Mexico: Nearly 200,000 training hours completed through the Monterrey Knowledge Transfer Network, an increase of more than 150% from FY2023, and the launch of the “Raíces AFL” program, in which 78 volunteers planted 50 native trees in a single day.
  • Australia: A donation of more than $20,000 to Eat Up Australia, which provides free lunches to students, along with a 12-month partnership to support meal programs and associate volunteerism.

The report also outlines AFL’s role in supporting the growth of broadband networks, AI infrastructure, intelligent edge networks and grid modernization through innovative technologies, advanced manufacturing capabilities and sustainable business practices.

“Continuous improvement remains a defining cornerstone of AFL’s culture,” Lang said. “We’ve positioned AFL for growth in markets shaping the future, including AI infrastructure, broadband and wireless access, and grid modernization.
