From complex commercial rating to AI-powered risk analysis, Dorado helps insurers tackle some of their most demanding operational challenges
HARTFORD, Conn.: Insurity, a leading provider of cloud-based software and analytics for the property and casualty insurance industry, today announced its Dorado release, delivering new capabilities that help insurers accelerate product development, manage regulatory complexity, and make more informed decisions across their operations. Dorado advances Insurity’s high-performance rating capabilities for small and complex commercial insurance while expanding the use of AI in risk analysis and introducing improvements to core operations.
Building on Insurity’s investment in AI-powered insurance technology, Dorado makes it easier for carriers to manage regulatory content, execute complex rating calculations, and reduce the operational effort required to maintain and evolve their products. Ratio Content & Rating Engine provides an API-first approach to regulatory content management and rating, converting machine-readable bureau rates, rules, forms, and statistical codes into production-ready insurance logic. Designed for both small commercial and large, complex commercial business, the engine can rate thousands of vehicles in under a minute, helping insurers accelerate product changes while supporting increasingly sophisticated rating requirements.
Dorado also expands how insurers can use AI to understand and act on complex risk information. New capabilities in SpatialKey make geospatial analysis more accessible to business users, while additional enhancements across policy administration, claims, and financial operations reduce administrative effort and improve the accuracy of everyday transactions.
“Insurers have an enormous opportunity to rethink how quickly they can bring new products to market and how effectively they can use the information available to them,” said Jatin Atre, Chief Executive Officer of Insurity. “We’re building technology that gives insurers the flexibility to innovate without sacrificing the sophistication their business demands. From rating complex commercial policies in seconds to putting AI-powered insights directly into the hands of decision makers, Dorado reflects our commitment to helping insurers move at the speed of their ambitions.”
