Recognition Underscores Calero’s Leadership in Mobility and Unified Technology Spend Management

ROCHESTER, N.Y.: Calero, a global leader in unified technology spend management, today announced it has been named Mobile Compliance Platform of the Year in the 2026 Mobile Breakthrough Awards. The award recognizes Calero’s approach to mobile compliance, bringing devices and the applications running on them into a connected framework for managing policy and security.

For more than 30 years, Calero has helped enterprises manage increasingly complex technology environments through its unified technology spend management and mobility solutions. Its core mobility offerings include Managed Mobility Services (MMS) and Mobile Expense Management (MEM), helping organizations manage the lifecycle of corporate mobile devices, plans and users while maintaining visibility into mobile expenses and compliance.

Connecting Mobile Management and Compliance

Mobile compliance gaps arise when policies exist but aren’t enforced. Calero addresses this by requiring employees to accept applicable use policies before ordering devices and to reaccept them when policies change. The same enforcement model applies to applications, connecting mobile compliance and application governance in one framework.

Through its platform and Calero ConnectIQ, Calero is extending this approach with automation, helping compliance keep pace with the changing needs of the mobile estate.

“Devices and apps go hand-in-hand when it comes to managing mobility,” said Hyoun Park, vice president of Telecom and Mobility Management at Calero. “We know policies alone cannot manage the activity and ownership associated with the volume of devices, applications and services at enterprise-scale. We are proud to see this validation of Calero’s unique combination of SaaS management expertise and managed mobility services in serving enterprise, compliance, governance, and security use cases.”

Now in its tenth year, the Mobile Breakthrough Awards recognize innovation across the global mobile and wireless industries, with categories spanning mobile AI, 5G and private networks, mobile device management, mobile security, analytics and the Internet of Things.

“Calero understands that mobile compliance and security require more than policies on paper,” said Steve Johansson, managing director of Mobile Breakthrough. “Its approach integrates devices and applications into a connected compliance framework, helping organizations maintain oversight as their mobile environments evolve.”
