Net Promoter Score exceeds the national IT services benchmark by 33.6 points, building on six years of strong client feedback
LOS ANGELES: #NPSscore--LicenseFortress, an independent software asset management and licensing advisory firm, today announced a Net Promoter Score® (NPS) of 88.6% in its October 2026 client survey, independently conducted by ClearlyRated. The score increased 5.3 points from 2025 and exceeds the national IT services benchmark of 55% by 33.6 points, reflecting continued client confidence as the company helps a growing client base navigate complex licensing requirements across Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, VMware, SAP, Adobe and other major software publishers.
The result marks LicenseFortress’ third consecutive annual increase, building on a six-year average annual NPS of 86.5%. In the latest survey, 88.6% of respondents rated their likelihood to recommend LicenseFortress a nine or ten out of ten, with no respondents classified as detractors.
“Maintaining strong client relationships as we grow takes a deliberate commitment to service,” said Michael Corey, Co-Founder of LicenseFortress. “Our clients are navigating different rules, contracts and commercial pressures across Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, VMware and other major software vendors, often while managing AI adoption, cloud migrations and high-stakes renewals. They need clear answers and a team that follows through. Seeing our score improve as we support more clients and more complex environments is a meaningful reflection of the work our team delivers every day.”
Software licensing decisions now reach across IT architecture, procurement, finance and legal, with each publisher presenting distinct challenges. Oracle database and Java licensing can create questions about deployment rights and licensing metrics. Microsoft agreements require careful evaluation of cloud subscriptions, AI services and existing entitlements. IBM licensing can depend on infrastructure configurations and reporting requirements, while VMware subscription transitions and changing bundles complicate budgeting and renewals. Across publishers, embedded AI features, consumption pricing and cloud migrations introduce additional questions about costs and contractual obligations.
LicenseFortress helps organizations connect those vendor-specific requirements to their actual deployments, contractual rights and business needs. Its approach brings together licensing specialists, technical experts and integrated legal counsel through Beeman & Muchmore LLP, supporting clients through compliance and optimization reviews, audit defense, contract negotiations and ongoing SAM managed services.
The ArxPlatform® supports that work by bringing together licensing data for expert validation against each client’s environment and agreements. Through ArxSecure®, LicenseFortress extends its methodology with continuous monitoring, proactive alerts and ongoing expert guidance. The firm does not resell software or take vendor commissions, keeping its recommendations focused on clients’ interests.
Recent testimonials on LicenseFortress’ ClearlyRated profile reinforce the value of that approach. An October 2026 reviewer described the company as “a reliable partner with strong expertise,” while another praised the team as “Consistently responsive, adaptive, and willing to help.”
The latest results extend six years of independently collected client feedback. LicenseFortress was also recognized with ClearlyRated’s Best of IT Services award in both 2025 and 2026.
NPS measures clients’ willingness to recommend a company by subtracting the percentage of detractors from the percentage of promoters. LicenseFortress’ six-year average represents the arithmetic mean of its annual survey scores from 2021 through 2026.
