LONDON: LogicMonitor®, the AI-first platform for Autonomous IT, and ANS Group, a leading UK technology and managed services provider, today announced early results from ANS's deployment of Edwin AI, demonstrating how AI is helping reshape managed services by reducing routine operational work and creating more capacity for proactive customer value.

Since deploying Edwin AI in August 2026, ANS has reduced alert noise by 83%, observability incident volumes by 45% and average incident resolution times by 44%, while reporting a 500% return on its incremental Edwin AI investment.* ANS has also consistently maintained SLA performance above 97%. By correlating related alerts, accelerating investigations and recommending next steps, Edwin AI is helping ANS shift engineering capacity from reactive incident management toward more proactive customer services.

"AI gives us an opportunity to fundamentally rethink how managed services are delivered," said Kyle Hill, Chief Technology Officer, ANS Group. "Our ambition is to free up our engineers' capacity so they can focus their expertise where it makes the biggest difference for customers, whether that's reducing costs, improving resilience or preventing issues before they happen."

Breaking the Cycle of Reactive IT

ANS uses LogicMonitor Envision and Edwin AI to connect related events, surface root-cause context and recommend next steps, helping engineers move from investigation to remediation faster.

Early operational results include:

  • 83% less alert noise: AI-powered event correlation helps ANS reduce unnecessary alerts and focus engineering attention on issues that require action.
  • 45% fewer observability incidents: Monitoring-generated incident volumes declined from approximately 4,300 in July to 2,383 as of October 29, reflecting improvements in event consolidation alongside normal seasonal variation.
  • 44% reduction in incident resolution time: Average time from case opening to closure declined significantly in October, enabling ANS to address customer issues more quickly.
  • Consistently strong service performance: ANS maintained SLA performance above 97% throughout its Edwin AI deployment.

Across its deployment, Edwin AI has processed 1.7 million events and deduplicated nearly 297,000 alerts, helping ANS reduce repetitive operational work and improve the efficiency of incident investigations.

ANS is also redirecting engineering capacity into proactive customer improvements, including cloud cost optimisation, security enhancements and automation. In Q3, engineers completed 21% more proactive success cases, as ANS began embedding Edwin AI into its AI-augmented operating model. These success cases provide a structured way of turning capacity released from reactive operations into tangible improvements across customer environments. ANS has also delivered more than 225 value-added recommendations to customers, including more than £50,000 in realized savings for one customer alone.

ANS also reports a 500% return on investment from Edwin AI, based on the value of recognized reductions in operational effort relative to incremental Edwin AI spend.*

"Most IT teams aren't short on problems to solve. They're short on time to get ahead of them," said Karthik Sj, Chief AI Officer, LogicMonitor. "ANS is showing what happens when AI helps engineers focus their expertise where it matters most. Engineers can spend less time chasing alerts and more time improving the systems their customers depend on. At LogicMonitor, we're turning the vision of Autonomous IT into reality, delivering measurable business value for our customers.”

Building Toward Autonomous IT

ANS is also exploring how AI agents can extend operational intelligence beyond traditional monitoring workflows. Through early testing with LogicMonitor's Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, ANS has connected an internally developed AI agent to LogicMonitor domain data, demonstrating how teams can access infrastructure information and investigation context through natural-language requests.

The MCP capabilities remain in private preview, with ANS evaluating potential applications ahead of production availability. ANS plans to expand its use of Edwin AI and explore additional automation and self-healing capabilities, reducing manual intervention while maintaining human oversight of critical operational decisions.
