SEATTLE: Finpilot, the AI-native operating system for institutional capital, today announced a $10 million Series A led by Lobby Capital, with participation from Madrona.

Universities, public pensions, foundations, hospital systems and families each have teams that manage billions of dollars, invested for the long term. That capital funds medical research, health care and people's retirements. Yet much of these teams' time still goes to gathering information: reading reports that arrive as PDFs, pulling out the numbers, and reconciling them across systems that don't connect.

Finpilot brings everything an institution knows into one place and puts AI agents to work on it. The platform keeps a single, accurate record of everything an organization owns and every document it holds, understands how all of it connects, and runs agents that read reports as they arrive, update the numbers, prepare analysis and track what has changed. Every number can be traced back to its source, and the agents bring people in when a decision needs their judgment.

"The teams managing this capital make decisions that fund research, health care and people's retirements," said Lakshay Chauhan, founder and CEO of Finpilot. "Finpilot's job is to take the routine work off their plate so they can focus on those decisions. This funding lets us grow our team and bring Finpilot to more institutions."

Institutions including Seattle Children's, Children's Health of Dallas, Hackensack Meridian Health, TIFF, Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Wyoming Retirement System use Finpilot today.

"What stood out to us was how Finpilot's clients talk about it," said Eric Carlborg, General Partner at Lobby Capital. "These are institutions that rarely change their systems, and they're making Finpilot the platform their teams run on. Lakshay and the team are building something these institutions will rely on for a long time."

"Since we first backed Finpilot, the team has kept raising the bar for what it can be while staying grounded in what customers need," said Sabrina Albert, Partner at Madrona. "The growth and adoption we've seen since the seed round have only deepened our conviction, and we're excited to double down alongside Lobby."

Finpilot will use the funding to grow its team so it can continue to serve institutions, and to expand its product so AI agents can solve more problems for its clients. The company is hiring across client success, product, marketing, sales and engineering. Open roles are listed at finpilot.ai/careers.
