Company Brings on Behavior, Inside Risk, and Identity Governance Experts to Chart Next Phase of Growth with Expansion in Enterprise Human Risk Management

AUSTIN, Texas: Living Security, Inc. ("Living Security"), the global leader in Human Risk Management (HRM), today announced new hires to its leadership team and Strategic Advisory Board: Kelly Harward as Vice President, Product, and Mike Siegel who joins the company’s Strategic Advisory Board. With these key appointments, Living Security’s leadership will collaborate to strategically lead the company into its next growth phase and accelerate driving innovations.

These new appointments will accelerate the advancement of the Living Security Unify Human Risk Management Platform. Unify HRM provides predictive insights into user behavior and events that could lead to or indicate an attack by combining intelligence from existing security tools. These insights and behavior patterns can be categorized by risk (such as social engineering, malware, data loss, and account compromise), employee types (such as those with elevated access), and more. From there, Unify enables security teams to prevent potential attacks by proactively applying targeted nudges, training, and adaptive policies.

“The talents, proven track records, and expertise of Kelly and Mike are invaluable as we accelerate our expansion in enterprise human risk management,” said Ashley Rose, CEO of Living Security. “We are excited to have them join our team as we take bold steps in the new year. Together, we will drive the continued momentum of our leading technology solutions that provide the tools and insights enterprises need to take proactive steps to improve their security posture.”

“I believe we have arrived at a moment where the significance of managing cybersecurity risks posed by and to humans is more critical than ever,” said Kelly. “And to truly address this challenge, security practitioners need a more holistic approach than those offered by the various point solutions that have touched on human-related cyber risk in the past. It’s because of this belief that I have joined Living Security. Their innovative technology is leading the way in defining a solution category around HRM.”

As Vice President of product, Kelly Harward brings a depth of experience in cybersecurity, application security, and information security. He is a recognized product leader with a demonstrated ability to form and lead high-performance teams to bring winning cybersecurity products to market. Over the past 20-plus years, Kelly has partnered with enterprise CISOs at the biggest brands in the world to deliver innovative products to solve their most imminent security challenges. Kelly joins Living Security as a startup veteran, having played critical roles at Oakley Networks and Shape Security – two cybersecurity startups funded by top-tier venture capital, each with successful exits. He also has a wealth of operational experience, having gone on to lead product innovation in the companies that acquired those startups, including Raytheon, Forcepoint, and F5.

A recognized technology industry leader and innovator, Mike Siegel brings a 20-plus-year track record of proven success as a growth-stage technology executive, early-stage venture investor, and startup strategic advisor. As a former senior operating executive in cybersecurity and enterprise SaaS, he has led company transformation and scale-up at some of the most successful companies in these industries, including McAfee, Forcepoint, and SailPoint Technologies. Over the past half-decade, Mike has co-founded two early-stage angel investing groups and has been an active strategic advisor and mentor to several high-potential technology startups, providing operating expertise in fundraising, go-to-market execution, and product strategy.

"Living Security's Human Risk Management vision is the natural evolution of the product strategies I helped design beginning 20 years ago at McAfee and then implemented in their own unique ways at both Forcepoint and SailPoint Technologies in the decades that followed,” said Mike. “I am energized to join the Strategic Advisory Board of Living Security to help bring the concept of human-centric security into the modern enterprise."

Living Security has experienced tremendous growth in the past year, with new and innovative product launches, strategic partnerships, a new channel program, and new C-suite executives. As the company embarks on its next chapter, Living Security will continue to grow its innovation capabilities and collaborate across the organization to steer the company’s next phase of growth.
