Longtime technology leader to play a pivotal role in driving product strategy, roadmap, R&D, and technology to advance the company’s commitment to excellence

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.: Sectigo®, the industry’s most innovative provider of comprehensive certificate lifecycle management (CLM), today announced the newest member of its senior executive team with the appointment of Mark Bilger as chief product and technology officer.

Mark will be responsible for all of the company’s product functions, including research and development, product strategy, engineering, and information technology. He joins Sectigo with more than 35 years' experience that includes a progression of leadership roles across technology and engineering functions at companies like Dell, Hyperion, HP, York Risk, and more.

“Sectigo’s leadership in the CLM space is unmatched, and I am excited to join this dynamic team as we tackle some of the most transformational challenges this industry has ever seen,” said Mark. “Our customers are coming up against sea changes in quantum computing, reduced certificate lifespans, automation, AI, consolidation, and a host of other technological and operational shifts. Sectigo has been the gold standard for digital trust for more than 20 years, and I am excited to keep evolving our platform and our market share to keep us there.”

Mark served most recently as CIO for One Call, a $1B+ provider of workers’ compensation solutions. At One Call, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology including strategy, networking, corporate computing, infrastructure, applications development, and information security. While at One Call, Mark’s organization improved the availability of business systems to 99.95%, implemented the CIS 20 Information Security framework, and integrated three aging data warehouses into a single cloud-based repository.

“Mark’s wealth of expertise across critical corporate technology functions and his innovative spirit make him an integral part of our global go-to-market strategy,” said Sectigo CEO Kevin Weiss. “As we continue to streamline and centralize operations across the organization, Mark’s leadership will ensure we remain well positioned to deliver the simplest, most secure, and most scalable CLM offerings to our customers around the world. We warmly welcome Mark to the Sectigo family.”

Sectigo’s cloud-native, CA-agnostic CLM solutions deliver more than 50 leading technology integrations from a single pane of glass — and they all carry the full weight and trust of Sectigo’s two decades as a trusted certificate authority (CA).
