BobiHealth uses AI-driven, evidence-based monitoring and alerting systems to support maternal health and identify potential complications - now FREE in the Apple Store.

SAN ANTONIO: #MaternalHealth--BobiHealth, a mobile application launched today, is set to transform the way pregnant women monitor their health by delivering users and their caregivers detailed insight into the mother’s health, monitoring for potential issues and alerting women when their health status could be something of concern - or not. Developed by a team of doctors, healthcare professionals, and data scientists, BobiHealth harnesses cutting-edge AI technology to deliver personalized insights and alerts, empowering expectant mothers with evidence-based information and support.

Maternal health complications and mortality rates, particularly among minority women, have seen alarming increases in recent years. According to a CDC report, the maternal mortality rate in 2021 rose from 20.1 to 32.9 deaths per 100,000 live births, with mortality rates for Black women 2.6 times higher than those for Non-Hispanic White women.1 In Bexar County alone, the rate of gestational hypertension (high blood pressure) increased 57 percent since 2017, and the rate of gestational diabetes has increased 66 percent. Access to care, costs and potential racial bias in the health care system could contribute to these disparities. In response to these disparities, BobiHealth is committed to fostering inclusivity in maternal healthcare and providing evidence-based support to all expectant mothers.

The BobiHealth app, available for free on the Apple store through August 2024, offers expectant mothers and their caregivers detailed insights into maternal health. By simply answering a few questions about their well-being, ranging from emotional state to fetal movements, users receive AI-driven assessments of their health status. Whether it's a potential concern or reassurance to continue monitoring, BobiHealth provides invaluable guidance driven by evidence-based science and AI algorithms.

"At the heart of BobiHealth lies its cutting-edge AI technology, offering safe and intelligent monitoring and alerting solutions designed to empower pregnant individuals with invaluable, evidence-based information," says Dave Esra, Founder and CEO of BobiHealth. "Motivated by a deeply personal experience, we developed BobiHealth to help end maternal and infant mortality."

Key benefits of the BobiHealth app include personalized monitoring and informative resources curated by a dedicated team of health care professionals, ensuring users have the knowledge and support needed to navigate their pregnancy journey with confidence. The app's provisional-patent-granted technology ensures users access to unprecedented levels of support and security.

"Our commitment extends beyond technology; we are dedicated to serving underserved populations, ensuring equitable access to secure data solutions for maternal healthcare, and working towards safer pregnancies for everyone," adds Dave Esra.

As BobiHealth continues to expand its reach, the company is raising funds to support launch on the Android platform and build out its commercialization platform globally.

Founded in 2023 with a mission to enhance the safety of pregnancy, BobiHealth is poised to revolutionize maternal healthcare with its intelligent monitoring and alerting solutions.
