The KuppingerCole report highlights a number of SailPoint’s strengths, including SailPoint’s ability to leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to accelerate application onboarding, assist with outlier detection and remediation, and other purposes. It also notes that the company uses generative AI to create entitlement descriptions, access recommendations, and distinct roles for different identities. Additionally, the report notes that SailPoint’s workflow engine is built on low-code/no-code principles, enabling drag-and-drop capabilities that allow customers to visualize data and logic flows more easily. SailPoint’s modern, user-friendly interface also drew praise, including for its highly configurable dashboard and ability to support a wide range of authenticator options.

KuppingerCole calls SailPoint “a leading vendor in the IGA market,” noting that the company “has built excellent support for identity and role lifecycle management as part of the IGA solution.” The report also highlights SailPoint’s extensive partner ecosystem for delivering its solution across the globe, as well as its ability to support automatic upgrades through its multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
