TAMPA, Fla.: Syniverse, "the world's most connected company,"® has been recognized by Kaleido Intelligence as the top vendor in mobile roaming for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting its continued excellence in providing innovative solutions for mobile network operators (MNOs) worldwide.
These achievements, as outlined in Kaleido's annual Roaming Vendor Hub report, showcase Syniverse's dedication to delivering essential roaming services as MNOs worldwide continue their adoption of 5G networks and implement other new technologies.
Kaleido, a specialist consulting and market research firm, evaluated 61 established and emerging roaming vendors and wholesale providers across nine service areas over a five-month period. Syniverse was named No. 1 in clearing and settlement for the third consecutive year and tied for first in fraud management and security. It also earned the highest designation of "champion" — vendors that excel in providing top-tier products and service quality — in four other service areas: roaming analytics and quality management, sponsored roaming, roaming hub, and internetwork packet exchange (IPX).
"Being recognized as the top roaming vendor for the fourth consecutive year validates our commitment to addressing operators' complex needs," said Andrew Davies, Syniverse's CEO. "We are dedicated to supporting MNOs with intelligent, forward-looking solutions that meet subscribers' growing demand for seamless international communications."
Syniverse's Universal Commerce solution continues to set industry standards by clearing, reconciling, settling, and auditing payment processes between home and visited mobile carriers more efficiently. It enables MNOs to effectively monetize new technologies and services as they deploy next-generation networks and provides granular, up-to-date insight into an MNO's roaming revenues.
In addition, Syniverse's advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) engine detects and blocks fraudulent messages. It identifies these types of messages with unprecedented speed and accuracy and evaluates their intent and context, rather than relying solely on word-based analysis, to determine whether they're legitimate. Kaleido also named Syniverse a "high flyer," its term for vendors who have a highly regarded and comprehensive industry offering, in roaming testing and steering of roaming.
The Kaleido Roaming Vendor Hub rankings evaluate companies based on their market positioning, problem-solving capabilities, innovation, and ability to align with and anticipate market needs.
This recognition highlights the unique value Syniverse brings to its customers worldwide, including enabling a more connected and accessible digital future. To learn more about Syniverse, visit https://www.syniverse.com/.
