Advancing IoT Security Standards with Exclusive FCC Recognition

LOS ANGELES: The ioXt Alliance has been chosen as a Cyber Labeling Authority (CLA) for the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) prestigious U.S. Cyber Trust Mark program. This exclusive designation reinforces ioXt’s position as the global standard-bearer in IoT security and underscores its pivotal role in certifying connected devices that meet rigorous cybersecurity criteria.

The U.S. Cyber Trust Mark program, a groundbreaking FCC initiative, establishes a trusted label for IoT devices, signifying adherence to stringent security standards. As a CLA, ioXt will certify eligible IoT products, ensuring they meet these benchmarks to safeguard the integrity of products in the U.S. market and helping to enhance consumer trust in secure devices. In addition to its role as a CLA, ioXt’s responsibilities will include participating in a 90-day stakeholder engagement process and ensuring the program’s requirements are met.

"We are honored to be selected as a Cyber Labeling Authority for this transformative program," said Gary Jabara, CEO and Founder of ioXt Alliance. "This recognition aligns with our mission to drive IoT security forward, and we are committed to collaborating with the FCC, UL Solutions, and industry stakeholders to make this program a success. Together, we will strengthen consumer confidence and elevate cybersecurity standards for IoT devices."

The U.S. Cyber Trust Mark program marks a significant milestone in the effort to secure the rapidly growing IoT ecosystem. By offering manufacturers a clear pathway to certification and empowering consumers with transparent labeling, this initiative is poised to reshape the market, incentivizing stronger cybersecurity practices. ioXt is committed to being a driving force in this important initiative, ensuring the highest levels of security for connected devices across the United States.
