2024 Elation highlights:

• Welcomed Nikolaus Trotta, chief operating officer and president – Trotta brings two decades of leadership experience in healthcare technology, operations, and finance. Having most recently served as General Manager and Senior Vice President at R1, Nikolaus was responsible for leading the company’s Patient Experience Business Unit and was instrumental in shaping its commercial and operational strategies. Prior to R1, Trotta co-founded and served as chief operating officer for VisitPay, a high-growth SaaS company which transformed patient billing. VisitPay grew from a startup to an industry leader, culminating in a $300M acquisition by R1 in 2021. Before VisitPay, Trotta worked as an investment banker with Cowen and Company in its San Francisco office. Trotta began his career in the United States Army and joins Elation as COO and president, where he is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and success working alongside the executive team as Elation scales.
