AUSTIN, Texas: #CDK--CDK, the leading automotive retail software provider, is gearing up for another successful NADA Show 2025 in New Orleans on Jan. 23-26, where it will showcase the benefits of Hybrid Intelligence compared to other industry solutions that leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) alone. Through Hybrid Intelligence, CDK creates deep integrations between its decades of industry leadership, rich market data, and advanced technology to help dealerships, OEMs and independent software developers solve complex problems more efficiently.

While AI excels in processing data through pattern recognition, it still lacks human reasoning, creativity and real-world experience. Hybrid Intelligence is designed to integrate these qualities to produce better outcomes.

“Our world—and technologies within it—are rapidly evolving. To ensure our industry keeps pace with these tremendous shifts, it takes a leader like CDK to build a strong foundation of purpose-built software with a combination of experience, scale and significant investment in innovation,” said Sanjay Almeida, chief product officer, CDK. “By pairing our human intelligence and wealth of data with machine learning and predictive analytics, Hybrid Intelligence inside the CDK Dealership Xperience platform is simply unmatched. At the end of the day, we know artificial intelligence without the volume of data and a clear understanding of where and how to apply it is just simply artificial.”

As a strategic partner at the center of the automotive retail ecosystem, CDK is uniquely positioned to help businesses respond to the market challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow. CDK products facilitate over 50% of U.S. new light vehicle sales and 55% of all repair orders; connect to more than 60 OEM brands; and integrate with 600 independent software partners through over 1,200 applications—accounting for more than 4 billion annual transactions.

Hybrid Intelligence within the Dealership Xperience continues the company’s best-in-class offerings by coupling data insights from these transactions with decades of human experience listening to and serving dealers. The resulting insights and automated workflows are then built seamlessly into the platform, eliminating the need for dealership employees to learn entirely new or separate tools. For example:

  • AIVA – The CDK Artificial Intelligence Virtual Assistant is offered throughout the Dealership Xperience to help dealers provide quick, personalized, conversational text and email responses to consumers in real-time; answer every call and schedule appointments using intuitive conversation in over 50 languages that grasps customers' intentions and preferences; and provide a ChatGPT-like experience that gives quick and thorough responses to simple queries, like, “What are my total expenses this month?”
  • Predictive Service and Service Customer Engagement – Within Fixed Operations, CDK leverages machine learning capabilities to identify potential repair needs based on extensive data insights for vehicles of the same year, make, model and mileage. Service departments can also benefit from AI-powered features such as noise cancellation to prevent background noise during multipoint inspection videos; real-time sentiment analysis to gain immediate insights into a customer’s experience; and smart replies that automate response options for common inquiries based on customer needs.
  • Customer Propensity to Buy with Equity Mining – CDK also embeds predictive modeling into a dealer’s CRM. It helps create visibility into a consumer’s propensity to purchase by identifying those with high-potential and allowing dealerships to increase sales leads in new vehicles, trade-in offers and resale values.
  • Vehicle Inventory Management – CDK supports dealers in getting vehicles merchandised faster with consistent photos and AI-generated descriptions to accelerate the sales process, and ensure vehicles reach potential buyers quickly with compelling, accurate presentations. Predictive analytics also provide dealers with better insights into future vehicle values to boost customer engagement, reduce time on the lot and increase profitability.

“By infusing Hybrid Intelligence into our solutions, we’re empowering our customers to focus their resources in areas that provide the most value. Ultimately, this improves the overall experience and satisfaction of both dealership employees and their guests,” said Almeida.
