VANCOUVER, British Columbia: Indigenomics IMPACT is a two-day forum highlighting stories of Indigenous economic reconciliation outcomes in the Indigenous economy. As part of the groundbreaking Indigenomics series, this inaugural gathering aims to bring together Indigenous businesses, corporations, investors, governments and allies to activate the Indigenous economy through economic reconciliation actions.
The forum is set to take place April 8-9th at the H.R MacMillan Space Center in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will feature the dome experience and an immersive Indigenomics AI platform to build real time insights for participants. Further, the forum offers an interactive digital landscape and XR-enhanced narratives with the goal to create an embodied experience through Indigenous-led economic and cultural realities through the curation of Move37XR and IM4 Labs.
The forum will include notable speakers such as Merle Alexander of Miller Titerle Law Corporation; Mindy Wight of Nch’ḵaỷ Development Corporation; Eli Enns of IISAAK OLAM Foundation; Beth Pachkowski of Scotiabank; and Tanya Tourangeau of Tanya T Consulting. Panels explore topics such as Corporate Reconciliation Action Plans and the Indigenous Led Conservation Economy.
“Indigenomics IMPACT is a powerful platform to activate the full potential of the rise of the Indigenous economy, bringing together leaders, businesses, and investors to drive meaningful economic reconciliation,” said Carol Anne Hilton, Founder & Host. “This event is about shifting the narrative—Indigenous Peoples are not just participating in the economy; we are leaders in it.”
