Crystal Group Unveils RE0924 Industrial Workstation at DISTRIBUTECH 2025

HIAWATHA, Iowa: #Crystal--Crystal Group, Inc., a leader in rugged technology solutions, is proud to introduce the RE0924 Industrial Workstation at DISTRIBUTECH® 2025, the premier trade show for power and utilities professionals. Designed to withstand the most demanding environments, the RE0924 delivers high-performance compute capabilities in an ultra-durable, compact form factor.

This solution is engineered to provide both industrial workstation and mid-tier server functionalities in harsh environments. Featuring high-performance processors, up to 128GB DDR5 memory, and advanced PCIe expansion capabilities, this rugged system ensures reliable performance in extreme conditions. Its lightweight aluminum construction, dual 2.5 Gb Ethernet connectivity, and high-speed, thermostatically controlled cooling allow for seamless operation in hot, dirty, and dusty environments.

“The RE0924 represents a major advancement in rugged computing for industrial applications,” said Gary Holtz , systems architect at Crystal Group. “Its powerful processing capabilities, configurable design, and industry-leading thermal performance make it an ideal solution for energy, utilities, and critical infrastructure sectors.”

With applications ranging from remote monitoring and logging to situational awareness and sensor fusion, the RE0924 is designed to meet the diverse and evolving needs of industrial operators. Its robust storage options, including support for up to four removable 2.5-inch SSD drives, make it well-suited for data-intensive operations in distributed networks.

“As the energy and utilities sectors continue to embrace digital transformation, the demand for rugged, high-performance computing at the edge has never been greater,” said Staci Kono, senior program manager at Crystal Group. “The RE0924 offers a scalable, long-life compute solution that enables real-time decision-making in environments where traditional systems simply cannot operate.”

Crystal Group’s commitment to zero-limits engineering ensures that the RE0924 meets rigorous industry standards, including protection against shock, vibration, humidity and altitude resilience for sustained operation in challenging environments. Backed by a five-year warranty and forward-looking configuration management, this next-generation system delivers both reliability and longevity for mission-critical industrial applications.

Crystal Group invites attendees of DISTRIBUTECH® 2025 to visit booth 5143 to experience the RE0924 firsthand and learn more about how the company’s rugged tech solutions are advancing the power and utilities industry.
