High-Baseline Categorization Expands Availability to More DOD and Federal Agencies

RESTON, Va.: Hypori, the leading cybersecurity SaaS provider enabling zero trust bring-your-own-device (BYOD) capability via any mobile device, is proud to announce that the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has granted Hypori an IL5 Provisional Authorization (PA) extension through 2028. Following the new assessment, Hypori’s SaaS-based IL5 environment is now categorized at the High-Baseline (IL5 High) according to the DISA Authorizing Official (AO), up from its previous Moderate-Baseline (IL5 Moderate).

This authorization reaffirms Hypori’s commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and ensures continued support for Department of Defense (DOD) mission owners requiring high-impact security solutions.

“This extension is a major milestone that reinforces our unwavering commitment to protecting national security data while ensuring mission success for our DOD customers,” said Matt Stern, Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Hypori. “Hypori continues to be the most secure method of accessing DOD CUI and services for BYOD users. It provides our DOD customers with the ability to use One Device, Zero Worries.”

By maintaining its IL5 authorization and securing the High-Baseline, Hypori ensures that the DOD can continue leveraging its cutting-edge BYOD (bring-your-own-device) security solution. This includes relying on Hypori for secure access to CUI environments and unclassified National Security Systems (NSS) mitigating operational risks and compliance challenges.

Hypori’s SaaS-based IL5 environment, available on the Amazon Web Service (AWS) GovCloud, empowers DOD mission owners to securely access DOD networks without ever transmitting, processing or storing data on mobile devices. Hypori was initially awarded its July 2023. The full list of DISA’s current authorized cloud service providers (CSPs) can found here.
