Latest technology expands occupancy intelligence to smaller - highly-valued - work areas

The Occuspace Micro sensor extends the company’s occupancy intelligence to cover 100% of building space, seamlessly complementing the Macro sensor designed for larger, open work spaces.

According to industry reports:

• The modern work place is still in flux. By early 2025, less than two-thirds of people were back in the office full-time.
• Companies are reconfiguring office space to accommodate changing work patterns. Between 2021 and 2023, the amount of square footage dedicated to collaboration increased from 14% to 20%.

The Micro sensor is designed specifically for smaller, shared work spaces. With privacy-safe mmWave technology, the Micro sensor detects occupancy levels and sends data to the Occuspace cloud for AI-driven analysis. Clients can access their data via Occuspace’s Customer Portal UI or an API or streaming data integration. An option is also available to integrate OS Micro’s real-time data with conference room booking systems, employee apps/Web pages, digital signage, and other use cases.
