Avetta Appoints Dawn Andre as Chief Product Officer and Promotes Abid Yousuf to Chief Customer Officer to Drive Product Advancement and Strengthen Customer Engagement
LEHI, Utah & HOUSTON: Avetta®, the leading provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) software, today announced the appointment of Dawn Andre as Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Abid Yousuf as Chief Customer Officer (CCO). Responsible for leading Avetta’s product strategy, Andre’s appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to advancing safety maturity across the supply chain by delivering innovative, automated technology that helps organizations proactively manage risk and build more resilient and compliant operations.
Andre joins Avetta with a deep passion for delivering superior customer experiences, bringing a visionary approach to seamless, AI-enabled integration across the supply chain. Her extensive product strategy and innovation expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that anticipate customer needs and elevate safety, efficiency, and resilience across complex global networks. With a proven track record in enterprise SaaS and B2B supply chain platforms, Andre is uniquely positioned to accelerate Avetta’s AI strategy and drive meaningful impact for customers at every stage of the supply chain journey.
“Creating real business impact for customers has been a constant focus throughout my career,” said Andre. “With deep-rooted expertise in supply chain and an enduring drive to innovate, I’m passionate about helping organizations harness the power of data to unlock smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions. As we infuse AI across the supplier experience, it’s about turning innovation into meaningful outcomes—and I can’t wait to help our customers lead the way.”
Andre will report directly to Avetta CEO Arshad Matin and work closely alongside Abid Yousuf in his newly expanded role of Chief Customer Officer. As Chief Customer Officer, Abid will merge the company’s customer support and professional services organizations into a single integrated, post-sales organization.
“Professional services and customer support have always shared a common goal—delivering exceptional service to Avetta’s customers—and bringing them together creates even greater alignment, efficiency, and impact,” said Abid Yousuf, Chief Customer Officer at Avetta. “A cohesive strategy for meeting customer needs is key to enhancing satisfaction. I'm eager to take on a new leadership role at Avetta and further drive meaningful impact.”
The decision to merge Avetta’s customer support and professional services teams aligns with Avetta’s ongoing initiatives to improve supplier management and compliance. Uniting these teams will enhance Avetta’s ability to support suppliers, including ensuring regulatory compliance, and foster stronger relationships to drive mutual success.
“At Avetta, we are deeply committed to helping clients and suppliers build safer, more resilient businesses,” said Arshad Matin, President, CEO, and board member at Avetta. “This is a pivotal moment for Avetta’s growth as we enhance our ability to deliver predictive technologies that help mitigate risk across the supply chain for suppliers and clients alike. In an era where safety maturity is becoming a critical business differentiator, these new appointments will help us deliver exceptional products for our customers to bolster their safety initiatives.”
In support of Avetta’s mission to lead the industry in Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention, the company announced a strategic partnership with the National Safety Council in November 2024 to launch the Safety Maturity Index™ (SMI)—a data-driven framework designed to proactively identify and address safety gaps within the supply chain. With deep experience in supply chain innovation and customer enablement, Andre and Yousuf are well-positioned to build on this momentum, helping Avetta deliver smarter, AI-powered solutions that protect workers and empower clients to lead with safety as a competitive advantage.
