NEW YORK: #CLM--AppViewX, a leader in automated certificate lifecycle management (CLM) and public key infrastructure (PKI) software, today announced the appointment of Paul Trulove as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Paul will help define the company’s strategic product direction and lead the global product management organization.
AppViewX also announced Madhu Venkatarajan as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and that Chris Bailey has joined as a new board member. These leadership changes underscore the company’s continued investment to deliver long-term value for customers.
“Strengthening our leadership team is part of our broader commitment to customers—we’re not just solving today’s problems, we’re building for the future,” said Dino DiMarino, CEO of AppViewX. “Paul, Madhu, and Chris each bring unique expertise that will help us accelerate innovation, improve product delivery, and ensure we remain the most trusted partner in machine identity management, crypto-agility and post-quantum cryptography readiness.”
Ian Loring, AppViewX Board Chair and Senior Managing Director at Haveli Investments, added: “We are thrilled with our investment in AppViewX to date and believe in investing in top-tier talent to help accelerate the company’s growth and impact. AppViewX is addressing one of the most critical challenges in enterprise cybersecurity—securing the explosion of non-human identities across complex environments—and we’re excited to bring in world-class leadership to accelerate innovation and deepen customer trust.”
Paul Trulove, a seasoned executive in cyber-security, joins AppViewX to lead strategy and global product management. He has more than 20 years of enterprise software experience, including over 15 years in identity and access management (IAM) roles as CEO of SecureAuth and CPO for SailPoint Technologies, where he helped pioneer identity governance and played a critical role in the company’s IPO and global growth.
“AppViewX is solving some of the most urgent and complex problems in cybersecurity today—the need to improve enterprise crypto hygiene and mitigate machine and non-human identity risk,” said Paul Trulove, Chief Product Officer at AppViewX. “I’m looking forward to helping customers reduce risk, modernize their cryptographic infrastructure, and prepare for what’s imminent—including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) readiness, TLS validity changes, and crypto-agility.”
Madhu Venkatarajan, the company’s new Chief Technology Officer, brings more than three decades of experience to AppViewX leading global software engineering and product delivery teams. He has a proven track record of building high-performance Global Capabilities Centers (GCCs) and delivering scalable technology solutions across enterprise environments. Most recently, he served as VP of Engineering and Country Head at PlanSource, where he launched a GCC that was recognized with a “best of class” award within its first year.
AppViewX also welcomed Chris Bailey as a new board member. Bailey is a prominent figure in the PKI and digital trust ecosystem, currently serving as Board Chair of the PKI Consortium and a founding member of the CA/Browser Forum. He brings over 25 years of expertise in shaping global standards, launching certificate innovations such as Domain Validation (DV) and BIMI, and holding senior roles at Entrust, Trend Micro, and GeoTrust.
These leadership appointments come at a time of significant growth and momentum for AppViewX. The company continues to address critical needs in certificate lifecycle management, PKI modernization, and crypto-agility as enterprises face rising threats, shorter TLS validity periods, and the coming shift to PQC resilience.
