Westhoff to Lead Expansion Initiatives and Oversee 4M+ Regional Portfolio Management
HOBOKEN, N.J.: #chicago--Faropoint, a tech-enabled real estate investment manager specializing in last-mile industrial properties in high population growth markets, today announced the appointment of Will Westhoff as Senior Vice President and Market Officer for the Midwest region. In this role, Mr. Westhoff will oversee acquisitions, asset management, and construction practices for Faropoint's growing Midwest portfolio, which currently encompasses approximately 4 million square feet across 60 assets.
Mr. Westhoff brings extensive institutional investment experience to Faropoint. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Starwood Capital Group, where he was involved in over $4 billion of real estate investments across multiple asset classes throughout the United States. His background also includes experience as an Investment Banking Analyst with Deutsche Bank, where he covered M&A, debt and equity capital markets, and strategic alternatives for companies in the real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure sectors.

In his new role, Mr. Westhoff will lead a team of six real estate professionals, overseeing the Midwest market's acquisitions, asset management, and construction practices. He will focus on sourcing direct and marketed deals through strategic partnerships with local and regional brokers, tenant representatives, and direct property owners to drive Faropoint's growth in the Midwest. His comprehensive approach to building and growing an industrial portfolio will further strengthen Faropoint's position as a leader in the urban logistics and industrial real estate sectors.

A Chicago native, Mr. Westhoff earned his BBA in finance and real estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an active member of NAIOP national forums and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
