Seattle-based MSP adds custom software expertise to enhance client offerings and fuel innovation.
SEATTLE: Fusiontek, a leading Managed Services Provider headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, announced its acquisition of Amarok, an Issaquah-based managed service provider (MSP) known for its in-house software development team. This marks Fusiontek’s third acquisition in the past year, emphasizing the company’s rapid growth and continued investment in expanding its services for clients.
The strategic acquisition brings custom development capabilities to Fusiontek’s already strong suite of IT and cybersecurity services. Amarok is a unique type of MSP, in that they offer a combination of traditional managed services and software development services, enabling them to deliver highly customized, data-driven technology solutions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Amarok to the Fusiontek team,” says Brian Miller, CEO of Fusiontek. “This is our third acquisition in a year, and it’s a big one. The development talent they bring to the table allows us to say yes to more — more customization, additional integrations, and new innovative AI solutions. It’s a great fit, and we’re all enthusiastic about the opportunities this brings.”
With a growing emphasis on data as a core business asset, Amarok has built a reputation for helping organizations transform raw data into actionable insights. Now, with access to Fusiontek’s infrastructure, resources, and national footprint, the combined team will be able to deliver greater impact through solutions such as:
"Fusiontek is the right partner for our future," stated Todd Pike, Founder and CEO of Amarok. "From the outset, it was evident that they align with our values, dedicating themselves to client success, both in the Seattle area and beyond. Notably, their extensive resources and scale will enhance the support, expertise, and range of solutions available to our clients. This partnership represents a natural progression, and we are enthusiastic about joining this journey."
The integration process is currently underway. Fusiontek will retain the entire Amarok team, and Amarok will continue to operate under its existing name throughout the transition period, with full integration planned for the coming months. Furthermore, Fusiontek will expand its office locations, keeping both Amarok’s offices in Issaquah and Bellingham, Washington. With this acquisition, Fusiontek now serves over 70% of the Washington state population, from Canada to Olympia, allowing them to provide excellent services both remotely and in person to more locations. Leadership from both companies is collaborating to ensure a seamless experience for clients, staff, and partners.
