Integrations Deliver End-to-End Observability for AI-Driven Business Intelligence and Metric Integrity in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
SAN FRANCISCO: Monte Carlo, the leader in data + AI observability, today announced extended support for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform through new integrations with Databricks AI/BI and Unity Catalog Metrics. These enhancements, unveiled ahead of the Databricks Data + AI Summit 2025, represent a major milestone in enabling AI-ready data at scale for joint customers of Databricks and Monte Carlo.
Monte Carlo’s new integrations with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform enable teams to maintain observability across every layer of the data + AI stack, from transformation pipelines to semantic metrics powering critical pipelines, dashboards, and products.
Databricks AI/BI, a business intelligence product built to democratize data for anyone in an organization, allows users to generate rich insights across the data + AI lifecycle. With Monte Carlo’s native integration, users can now monitor the quality of the data underpinning these insights with AI-powered anomaly detection and automated root cause analysis.
Monte Carlo is also introducing support for Databricks Unity Catalog Metrics, enabling reliability at the semantic layer. Unity Catalog Metrics provides a unique governance solution that standardizes metric definitions across reports, dashboards, and AI/ML models—helping organizations bring clarity and context to their data. Monte Carlo’s integration allows teams to monitor the integrity of these definitions, ensuring that key business KPIs remain accurate, consistent, and trustworthy across domains.
“As organizations scale their AI initiatives, the complexity of maintaining data quality across the entire stack becomes exponentially more challenging," said Shane Murray, Head of AI at Monte Carlo. "Our expanded integrations with Databricks AI/BI and Unity Catalog Metrics address this critical gap by bringing observability to every layer—from raw data pipelines to the semantic metrics that power business-critical AI applications.”
Monte Carlo will showcase these capabilities at the Databricks Data + AI Summit (booth #F602) For more details, visit: https://info.montecarlodata.com/events/databricks-summit-2025
