on turning continuity planning into action

VIENNA, Va.: Everbridge, Inc., the global leader in High Velocity Critical Event Management (CEM) and national public warning solutions, will debut its High Velocity CEM™ platform with BC in the Cloud (BCIC) integration at DRJ Fall 2025, September 7–10 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. Attendees can visit Booth #219 for live demos and in-depth product sessions, including three exclusive presentations featuring Everbridge experts and customers.

This deeper integration makes BC in the Cloud a core component of the High Velocity CEM platform – bringing together continuity planning, critical event management, and real-time operational response in a unified, purpose-built solution.

“BCIC helps us stay resilient by allowing us to have all of our information in a single repository,” said Jeff Dill, Business Continuity Manager at Lennar, during the Everbridge Discover Resilience 2025 user conference. “We can track our BIAs and tie that into our business continuity plans. I would advise anyone that's trying to do a business continuity program with the manual process to give it up. There are so many advantages of having a Business Continuity Management system. It just saves you. Double your staff in efficiency.”

From Planning to Action in One Platform

The integration between BCIC and Everbridge 360 delivers a centralized, real-time view of continuity plans, response activities, and risk exposure. Key capabilities include:

  • Real-time insights into impacts and dependencies to drive informed decision-making during incident response
  • Seamless activation of plan tasks and response strategies ensuring a unified approach to response and recovery when every moment counts
  • Unified workflows that connect continuity, crisis management, and emergency communications
  • Dynamic dashboards showing recovery status, overdue tasks, and critical dependencies
  • Audit trails and reports that simplify compliance with regulatory and industry standards

With High Velocity CEM, organizations can shift from disconnected tools and manual processes to a fully integrated, scalable platform for resilience.

“The benefits of using BCIC for us is the consolidation of all the information from all of our business units,” added Veronica Simauw, Business Continuity Program Manager at Symetra, also speaking at Discover Resilience. “It’s been helping us as our company grows and expands our business entities. It helped us to have one single view of our contingency plans for all the various units we manage, and it's been very effective in helping our department leaders manage and review their business impact analysis and their continuity plans. You go to BC in the Cloud, and you can see all your information there: your recovery strategies, department dependencies, and your list of employees. For us specifically, we connected it with our HR information system, so it helped them have that one single spot.”

In addition to live demos at Booth #219, Everbridge will host three exclusive sessions during DRJ Fall, each offering practical insights and real-world examples:

  • Solutions Demo: Improving Risk Postures with Technology and Intelligence
Sunday, September 7 at 4:00 PM
  • Breakout Session: Buy-In Beyond the Boardroom
Monday, September 8 at 3:45 PM
  • Bridging Strategy and Action: Real-World Applications in Planning and Response
Tuesday, September 9 at 9:15 AM

These sessions – and the firsthand experiences shared by Everbridge customers – demonstrate the value of bringing business continuity and incident response into a unified platform. It’s a shift in how organizations can prepare for and respond to disruption, and one that Everbridge CEO Dave Wagner sees as essential for the future of resilience.

“Embedding BC in the Cloud into High Velocity CEM represents a significant step forward for resilience professionals,” Wagner said. “Organizations can now move seamlessly from planning to action – automating response plans, maintaining alignment across teams, and making faster, smarter decisions during disruptions. It’s about giving organizations the confidence to act decisively while staying grounded in their continuity and recovery strategies.”
