Investment underscores confidence in battle-tested innovation

KYIV, Ukraine: Swarmer, known for its advanced battlefield AI capabilities, has announced a $15m Series A round – the single-largest investment in a Ukrainian defense tech company since the start of the war. The round is led by Broadband Capital Investments, with participation from R-G.AI, D3 Ventures, Green Flag Ventures, Radius Capital, and Network VC.

Swarmer’s technology allows groups of drones to execute missions autonomously, translating human-defined objectives into coordinated action.

Its defense industry has rapidly expanded in response to the unprecedented scale of the conflict: in 2025 alone, Ukraine is slated to deploy close to 5,000,000 drones into active combat. This monumental scale, paired with an agility in procurement rarely seen in the defense industry, accelerates innovation and growth.
