The Company Will Co-Develop Custom AI Operational Assistants to Future-Proof Health Systems’ AI Capabilities and Solve Frontline Staff's Biggest Challenges
NEW YORK: Qventus, a leading provider of AI-powered solutions for hospitals and health systems, today announced the AI Solution Factory at QLive, its inaugural client conference. The AI Solution Factory enables healthcare organizations to co-develop AI Operational Assistants that solve hospitals’ most pressing challenges, with an emphasis on delivering sustained return on investment (ROI). The company also shared the most recent client results and new strategic partnerships at the conference, taking place September 17-19 in Dallas, Texas.
Thinning margins, labor shortages, staff burnout, and declining reimbursements are already increasing pressure on health systems. This financial strain is set to worsen significantly, as recent legislation introduces an estimated one trillion dollars in cuts to Medicaid over the next decade, which will drive up the cost of care. In the face of these challenges, health system leaders are turning to AI solutions to decrease costs and drive growth. 54 percent of CIOs said they expect AI to have the biggest impact on operational efficiency and cost reduction, and ranked improved margins as the primary method for evaluating the ROI of AI investments.
With Qventus’ AI Solution Factory, strategic health system partners can now co-develop custom AI Operational Assistants at a velocity that’s unmatched in the industry. Powering the AI Solution Factory is Qventus’ platform, which deeply integrates with hospital electronic health records (EHRs) and uses localized and probabilistic machine learning, behavioral science, and conversational AI to automate end to end workflows.
These core platform capabilities equip Qventus AI assistants with new skills:
These skills power Qventus’ AI Operational Assistants, high-tech sidekicks for overburdened staff who operate two steps ahead. With the ability to speak, hear, read, gather, understand, and write, they seamlessly incorporate unstructured data and interactions to anticipate the most effective next steps and take action. With the AI Solution Factory, clients can co-develop new AI teammates to orchestrate and close care gaps, optimize site of care, automate referrals and call workflows, automate surgical prior authorization, improve referral network integrity, introduce automation for care transitions and patient activation, and much more.
"For more than a decade, we've focused on engineering AI solutions that deliver sustainable impact for health systems. The AI Solution Factory is a major milestone for Qventus, allowing us to rapidly build a new generation of solutions to solve critical problems,” said Mudit Garg, CEO and co-founder of Qventus. “Instead of chasing hundreds of AI use cases, our vision is to go deep on the ones that matter most. We find the problems that drive the best outcomes, then we build and operationalize AI solutions from the ground up to ensure they succeed. If our Qventus AI Platform is the engine, the AI Solution Factory is our high-speed assembly line—it gives us a systematic way to build best-in-class AI teammates, ensuring they are not just effective, but fully integrated into our clients' daily operations for long-term success."
Qventus' AI Solution Factory is available now for select strategic partners.
Qventus also announced new features and client results across their Surgical Growth, Perioperative Care Coordination, and Inpatient Capacity solutions at QLive.
Perioperative solutions drive strategic surgical volume and maximize robotics investments
More than 30 percent of operating room (OR) time goes unused, despite surgery being the biggest revenue driver for many hospitals. Health systems, including Northwestern Medicine and Eisenhower Health, have turned to Qventus to transform their perioperative programs, drive strategic growth, and reduce surgery cancellations. Across all clients in 2025, Qventus powered 135K block release hours, influenced 35K cases, saw a 13% increase in clients’ robotics volume on average, and drove an average 10X annualized ROI.
Inpatient Capacity Solution: enhanced analytics platform, new use case, and latest client results
"Potential Medicaid cuts will likely worsen already record-high ED boarding, straining staff, undermining patient care, and increasing mortality,” said Jason Cohen, CMO, Inpatient, Qventus. “Hospitals need solutions that create capacity by ensuring timely, safe discharges - tools that embed the core components of patient flow directly into daily workflows and provide clear data to address the causes of prolonged stays."
Across all Inpatient Capacity Solution clients, Qventus eliminated over 35,000 excess days and nearly 4 million clicks in the EHR, freeing close to 450k minutes for inpatient care teams to spend on patient care and saving health systems millions of dollars.
Qventus launched Inpatient Capacity Insights to address these challenges. This new capability accelerates patient flow and throughput by identifying the highest-priority discharge opportunities in real time, reducing excess days by targeting and addressing the process gaps that impact length of stay (LOS), and unlocking sustained capacity gains by combining daily execution, process adherence, and LOS insights in one insights suite.
Qventus also launched a new suite of AI assistants to power care orchestration for severe malnutrition so providers can identify early signs of severe malnutrition and take action by automatically placing necessary orders and updating major complication or comorbidity (MCC) documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
In addition to these technology enhancements, the solution continues to expand across clients and generate meaningful ROI. A western academic medical center recently reported a 15 percent decrease in mean excess days, close to eight million dollars in total savings, and 24 percent growth in discharge volume after deployment.
