Celebrating the release of “TRON: Ares” in theaters, McAfee’s new campaign taps into the film’s themes to help families stay protected online.

SAN JOSE, Calif.: McAfee, a global leader in online protection, today announced Secure Your Grid, a cinematic new campaign celebrating the upcoming “TRON: Ares” release in theaters October 10. Designed to drop during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the campaign showcases a suite of creative assets – including a custom spot featuring clips from the upcoming film – to drive engagement and awareness, and help people outsmart today’s most advanced, AI-powered threats.

In TRON: Ares, audiences will witness the highly sophisticated program, Ares, be sent from the digital world to the real world on a dangerous mission. In reality, people face increasingly sophisticated threats across text, email, and social media. McAfee is seizing this moment to bring its AI-powered protection tools to life, including Scam Detector and Web Protection which automatically spots scams across text, email, and video, and blocks risky websites and downloads before they can do harm. Futuristic visuals featuring film artwork reflect how online threats blur the lines between the digital and real worlds — and how McAfee helps you stay one step ahead in the fight against evolving scams and attacks.
