Deeper Schwab–Orion integration delivers daily beneficiary updates directly from Schwab and eliminates manual entry
OMAHA, Neb.: With IMPACT® kicking off today in Denver, Orion announced a significant enhancement to its integration with Schwab Advisor Services. Beneficiary information will now flow automatically from the account profile on Schwab Advisor Center into Orion, providing advisors with accurate, once-daily updates and eliminating the need for manual data entry.
“This enhancement with Schwab isn’t just about data – it’s about removing friction,” said Reed Colley, President of Orion Advisor Technology. “Advisors told us that maintaining client beneficiary data in Orion is a pain point, and we’re acting on that feedback. By automating beneficiary updates through our deeper integration with Schwab, we’re stripping away complexity so advisors can operate with greater clarity and focus. Every time we remove friction, we create more space for advisors to do what they do best: build trust, deepen relationships, and drive better outcomes for their clients.”
Advisors can establish the connection in Orion with just a few clicks, and beneficiary information from Schwab is automatically imported – keeping records accurate without requiring additional effort. Key benefits of the enhanced integration include:
“This latest integration is a great example of how we work closely with Orion to drive efficiency and improve data quality for the advisors we serve together, in turn helping them better serve their end clients,” said Alison Dooher, Head of Digital Advisor Solutions for Schwab Advisor Services.
This integration is now live and documented in Orion’s Help Center. The beneficiary integration is available to Orion Advisor Technology and Orion Portfolio Solutions advisors who custody with Schwab and can be leveraged inside Orion platforms, including Redtail CRM, Orion’s Advisor Portal, and Salesforce via the Portfolio View integrations.
Orion’s collaboration with Schwab Advisor Services continues to deepen, with a shared focus on delivering meaningful innovations that simplify advisor operations and enhance client service.
