The Rochester team is led by Ken Laubacher, Sebastian Gimeli, and Jacob Rinck - three industry veterans who bring over 60 years of combined experience in security, project execution, and customer service.

Sebastian Gimeli, Project Manager, brings a dual background of technical and industrial expertise, having spent 12 years in the security sector following an 18-year career with General Motors. A Rochester native and Sicily-born leader, Gimeli is widely regarded as a technical expert with certifications across industry-leading platforms. Known for solving the problems others can’t, his hands-on approach ensures that each system is engineered to exacting standards and delivered with seamless execution.

Jacob Rinck, Operations Manager, started in the field nearly 20 years ago as a technician and rose through the ranks into leadership. With extensive certifications in fire, intrusion, and access control technologies, Rinck has led customer support and service teams with a focus on accountability and building strong client relationships. His leadership style is rooted in his mantra: “Control the controllables” - fostering a culture of reliability and mutual respect.

With its Rochester office now fully operational, Chimera is actively hiring technicians and support staff to meet rising demand across the region. The company is also seeking additional key team members to join this growing branch, particularly individuals with a passion for community impact and technological innovation.
