Veteran healthcare IT leader drives value-based care and payment model innovation through WEDI
BELLEVUE, Wash.: Edifecs, a Cotiviti business, today announced the re-election of Michael Pattwell, principal business advisor of value-based care at Edifecs, to the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) Board of Directors. Pattwell’s re-election will help further WEDI’s mission to improve the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of healthcare information exchange across the industry. Pattwell will also continue serving as chair of WEDI’s Value-Based Care Workgroup, where he has been instrumental in fostering the adoption and implementation of innovative payment models that promote collaboration between payers and providers. Pattwell has served in this capacity since 2016.

Pattwell is a well-recognized industry leader who serves in a variety of leadership positions including as director of the CAQH Value-Based Payment Advisory Board and vendor lead for HL7 International’s Da Vinci Value-Based Performance Reporting Implementation Guide.
