HAIFA, Israel: #proteantecs--proteanTecs®, a global leader in advanced analytics solutions for semiconductor health and performance monitoring, today announced the appointment of Mr. Noritaka Kojima as General Manager & Country Manager of proteanTecs Japan and the opening of its new Japan office in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, as part of its strategic expansion in the Japanese market.

proteanTecs provides cutting-edge solutions that analyze Deep Data telemetry collected from within chips and electronic systems to precisely monitor reliability, power, and performance from manufacturing through deployment. The company’s technology enables optimization of quality, time-to-market, and predictive maintenance across design, production testing, and in-field operation stages. Trusted by leaders in Automotive, Data Center, and Telecommunications, their solutions are integrated by major semiconductor and system companies worldwide, with fast adoption across high-performance and mission-critical applications such as AI training and ADAS.

Headquartered in Israel, proteanTecs serves the global electronics market, with operations in the United States, Germany, India, South Korea, Taiwan and now Japan. This strategic expansion strengthens the company’s collaboration with local partners, enabling faster, more efficient, and localized support.

Profile: Noritaka Kojima

Mr. Kojima has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with the past decade focused on silicon IP licensing. Most recently, he served as the head of Hailo Japan, where he led the company’s business expansion in the edge AI semiconductor sector. Prior to that, he held key business management positions at CEVA and Tomen Electronics (now NEXTY Electronics), contributing to global technology partnerships and semiconductor business growth. In October 2025, he assumed the role of General Manager & Country Manager at proteanTecs Japan, overseeing the launch of the Japan office and leading its strategic initiatives.

Comment from Noritaka Kojima, GM & Country Manager, proteanTecs Japan

“After more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, I am honored to join proteanTecs and take on the challenge of launching its Japan office. proteanTecs is a company with a clear mission: ‘to revolutionize electronics reliability, power/performance, and visibility through on-chip monitoring’ and it is rapidly gaining global recognition across the advanced electronics industries.

Japan is a nation deeply rooted in craftsmanship and technological curiosity. The ability of proteanTecs’ technology to visualize chip-level health and enhance data-driven optimization across the entire product lifecycle, from manufacturing to field operation, holds tremendous potential in this market.

There is a strong rationale for establishing the Japan office: to build strong, long-term partnerships with Japanese customers to realize more scalable, resilient, and efficient product development and operation. We aim to be more than just a solution provider; we are committed to being a ‘technology partner’ that works closely with customers to solve their most critical challenges.

Together with Japan’s electronics leaders, we will strive to help build a safer and more sustainable and interconnected technological society. That is the mission of proteanTecs Japan, and my own new challenge.”

Comment from Sanjay Lall, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), proteanTecs

“The Japanese market plays a vital role globally in advanced electronics manufacturing and operations. With Mr. Kojima’s deep expertise and strong industry experience, proteanTecs will further strengthen its partnerships with customers in Japan. We look forward to creating new value together with Japan’s semiconductor, automotive, and AI manufacturers.”

Future Outlook

With the establishment of its Japan office, proteanTecs will accelerate predictive lifecycle monitoring across manufacturing, operation, and service phases. Through co-development, PoC (Proof of Concept) initiatives, and mass-production support with Japanese enterprises, the company will expand its power reduction, advanced reliability, quality, and visibility solutions from device to system level. Leveraging its global network, proteanTecs positions Japan as a key hub for business expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, driving sustainable growth and market innovation.
