Milestone strengthens Incode’s position as a trusted partner for government digital transformation with AI powered biometric identity solutions

SAN FRANCISCO: Incode Technologies (Incode), the global leader in identity security and fraud prevention, today announced that its platform has achieved FedRAMP Ready status. This is a critical step toward full FedRAMP Authorization and reflects Incode’s commitment to federal security standards.

What FedRAMP Ready means

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program standardizes security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud services used by U.S. federal agencies. FedRAMP Ready confirms that Incode completed a Readiness Assessment by a FedRAMP accredited Third Party Assessment Organization, with findings reviewed by the FedRAMP Program Management Office.

Why this matters for agencies

Generative AI accelerates the speed and scale of fraud. Deloitte forecasts that fraud losses in the United States could reach $40 billion by 2027, up from $12.3 billion in 2023. This underscores the need for advanced identity verification that protects sensitive data without compromising user experience. Deloitte

“FedRAMP Ready is an important milestone in our mission to support U.S. federal agencies with secure, high assurance identity verification,” said Ricardo Amper, CEO & Founder at Incode. “We are committed to completing the authorization process and helping agencies deliver seamless digital services while protecting privacy and strengthening security.”

Proven technology for federal grade security

Incode’s platform combines proprietary AI and machine learning with advanced deepfake detection to help agencies defend against sophisticated attacks at scale.

  • Ranked as a top performer by NIST for facial recognition accuracy.
  • Four times better at identifying fraud compared to industry alternatives.
  • First iBeta certified passive liveness detection globally.
  • 4.1 billion identity verifications completed in 2024.

Compliance and assurance

In addition to FedRAMP Ready, Incode maintains a comprehensive security and compliance program that includes SOC 2 Type II, ISO IEC 27001, alignment with ISO IEC 30107-3 for presentation attack detection, and Kantara certification for Identity Assurance Level 2.

Supporting agency missions

FedRAMP Ready enables Incode to work with federal agencies to:

  • Modernize citizen facing digital services with secure and seamless identity verification
  • Combat identity fraud and synthetic identity attacks
  • Meet applicable federal security and privacy requirements
  • Implement age verification for regulated services
  • Strengthen workforce identity and authentication programs

What is next

With FedRAMP Ready status, Incode will collaborate with its federal agency sponsor to pursue Authorization to Operate under FedRAMP.

With its mission to power a world of trust at the speed of AI, Incode powers eight of the top ten U.S. banks, seven of the top eight telecom providers, and many of the leading fintechs, marketplaces, and governments in the world processing over four billion identity checks annually across multiple industries.
